The establishment of refugees on the Swedish labour market – Experiences from the Nordic countries

Seminar 2017.11.28

Listen

It takes approximately nine years for half of the refugee-population in Sweden to establish themselves on the labour market. What does the situation look like in our neighboring counties? And what can we learn from each other?

Topics such as these were discussed during the seminar, where Bernt Bratsberg, senior researcher at the Frisch Center in Oslo, Marie Louise Schultz-Nielsen, senior researcher at the Rockwool Foundation in Copenhagen and Olof Åslund, secretary general at the Institute for Evaluation of Labour Market and Education Policy, and Professor of Economics at Uppsala University participated.
