Each year, SNS brings together PhD candidates from Swedish universities who are ready to take the next step from academic research into their professional careers. They have specialist expertise in statistics, empirical methods and economic theory, with focus areas ranging from public and financial economics to macroeconomics, labour economics and environmental economics. 

For you as an employer, it is an effective way to interview candidates who match your needs and stay up to date with the latest research. For the PhD candidates, it is a valuable opportunity to present their research, build their professional network and explore career paths both within and beyond academia. 

Throughout the day, there is room for research presentations, informal conversations and one-on-one interviews. 

The registration deadline is 30 October.

Interviews 

SNS provides conference rooms for interviews throughout the day. As an employer, you will have access to candidates’ CVs, papers and letters of recommendation ahead of the event – giving you time to prepare and identify which candidates you would like to meet.

Participation is free of charge. Registration opens on 7 September and closes on 30 October.
