Welcome to a webinar where Professor Esteban Rossi-Hansberg at Princeton University will present his research on firm location and cognitive hubs.
Over the last decades, high-wage, cognitive non-routine occupations, such as doctors, lawyers, and computer scientists, have concentrated to larger cities. This development has not always benefited workers in other occupations, living outside the cities. How can an economic policy be designed to re-allocate occupations, so that welfare is improved for all workers?
Kerstin Enflo, Professor of Economic History at Lund University, will comment. More speakers may be announced.
