Seminar on tools for risk management throughout complex global supply chains, with Jyrki Raina, former General Secretary of IndustriALL Global Union.
Trade unions are offering Global Framework Agreements (GFA) as one solution for labour and management to work together worldwide on sustainable industrial relations and joint problem-solving. To highlight these questions, SNS has invited Jyrki Raina, until October 2016, former General Secretary of IndustriALL Global Union. He is one of the main architects of the Bangladesh Safety Accord, signed by global labour unions and 200 retailers after the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013, which contributes to safer working conditions in the garment industry for millions of workers.
The meeting is by invitation only and part of SNS Sustainability Roundtable.
