Roundtable on carbon pricing and the key role it can play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions around the globe, John Ward, Managing Director at Vivid Economics.

SNS has invited John Ward, Managing Director at Vivid Economics, and expert in environmental economics, industrial organisation and climate finance to highlight the emerging landscape of carbon pricing and the implications it has for business.

John Ward has for the last ten years focused on the economics of climate change and led teams on a series of high profile projects, for the Executive Office of the UN Secretary General, the UN Global Compact, the World Bank, and a wide range of corporate clients across Europe, North America, Latin America and South Africa. In 2016, he was one of the lead authors of the World Bank’s flagship publication State and Trends of Carbon Pricing and the UN Global Compact’s report Business Contribution to Global Climate Action.
