SNS/SHOF Finance Panel: Banking between regulation and technological change

Technological developments contribute to rapid changes in the financial services industry. Startups introduce new technologies and established companies adapt. How regulations are designed will in turn affect where innovations take place.

One of Europe’s leading banking experts, Professor Arnoud Boot, will talk about the structure of the banking industry going forward in this new landscape.
Boot is an advisor to financial institutions and financial regulators around Europe. He is the chairman of the EFA, the European Finance Association.

The Finance Panel is a meeting forum for the financial sector, hosted by SNS and the Swedish House of Finance.

Swedish House of Finance (SHOF) at the Stockholm School of Economics is Sweden’s national research center in financial economics.

The meeting is held in English and is moderated by Pehr Wissén, Ph.D. in economics, senior advisor, Swedish House of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Wednesday October 24 at 08:00-09:15, SNS, Jakobsbergsgatan 18, Stockholm. Registration with breakfast from 07:45. The meeting will start at 08:00.

Registration and fee

The number of seats is limited. The meeting is open to SNS members*, SHOF and the press. The fee is SEK 995. VAT is added and an invoice will be sent after the meeting. Cancellations after 22 October or absences will be charged.
