Breakfast seminar with EU Director-General for Employment

At the end of April, the European Commission will adopt a new social package that includes a proposal for the so called European Pillar of Social Rights.

On April 27, Michel Servoz, European Commission Director General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, will visit Stockholm for a seminar. We will discuss how the proposals will strengthen the European project and the effects on the labour market in both Europe and in Sweden.

The proposals are following a Europe wide consultation process that took place in the course of 2016.

The European Commission will also publish a reflection paper called The Social Dimension of Europe by 2025. This document will also be discussed at the seminar.

The seminar is co-organized by the European Commission Representation in Sweden and SNS.

The meeting will be held in English.
