Stéphanie Jamet, Senior Economist at the OECD, presents the OECD Skills Outlook, which this year examines the way in which the level and mix of skills affects the extent to which countries can benefit from global value chains. The report contains new analyses based on data on adult skills and countries’ involvement in global value chains.
Fredrik Sjöholm, Professor of Economics, gives an in-depth view of the effects of global value chains on the Swedish labour market.
The seminar is organised within the framework of the SNS research project Future Supply of Skills, the aim of which is to contribute research-based evidence to ensure continued competitive skills.
